Kevin Noel Sibley

Kevin Noel Sibley, 57, died on Friday, June 10, 2022, at his home in Spotsylvania County. His wife and nephew, Chris, were at his side holding his hand, as he peacefully passed away.

Kevin was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on December 24, 1964, to the late Nellie Joanne and Ralph Monroe Sibley Sr. He relocated to Virginia as a young child and was a graduate of Courtland High School's 1983 Class. He retired as the Deputy Director of Northern Virginia Juvenile Correction Center and was a lifetime member of Chancellor Volunteer Fire Department's Company 5.

Kevin was always known for his huge smile, caring heart, and his ability to make others laugh. He looked out for his family and closest friends when they needed him most. He loved his wife, Laura, and their cat Sam, to the end of the World. He enjoyed riding his Harley, drinking coffee and umbrella drinks, and anything Tech-driven. He was a compassionate soul who will be missed by so many who had the joy of knowing him.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Laura; his brothers, David Moody (Gloria) of Suffolk, and Richard Moody (Beverly) of Suffolk; sister-in-law, Francoise Sibley of Spotsylvania; and countless nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Joanne; father, Ralph Monroe Sr.; brother, Ralph Monroe Jr.; and sister, Jodie Coakley.

The family will host a Celebration of Life 3 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4123; 21 Cool Springs Rd., Fredericksburg VA 22405. Friends and guests welcome.
