Jeane Allen Harrell

Jeane A. Harrell, 90, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Mary Washington Hospital. She was born on April 15, 1932, to the late Stanley T. Allen and Ethel Mary Henderson in King George County.

Jeane enjoyed Christian activities of all kinds. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist for 28 years. Jeane traveled to many places, including three trips overseas and two to the Holy Land. She and her husband, Sidney, also took annual trips to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

She is survived by her two children, Neal T. Harrell and Katherine H. Norman; brother, Donald S. Allen (Chris) and his son, grandson, and stepson, many cousins and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Sidney A. Harrell.

A graveside service will be held 12 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Jeanne was the best sister on the planet. Age difference was a benefit and i appreciate all she did for me over the many years. Surely will be missed.
