Love & laughter come to mind when thinking about you Joe. Your love for family without limit...
Life's better when you're laughing & you definitely mastered that. Thanks for sharing your love with the girls & I and more importantly thank you for loving my Sister.
I will make it my business to get some sort of vacation arranged for Krisi & the kids. I know that's something you always wanted!
Until we meet again brother, rest easy.

Joe, we met over thirty some years ago when you were living with your sister Kathy.. I always admire the close knit relationship the two of you shared. I watch you grow up to be a strong man, who always looked out for his sister Kathy and niece Erica. You and I would sometime cross path at the store or the mall.. We would always catch up to speed with each other life, before we leave and travel our separate ways. You would always get in the last words, have you talk to Kathy .(Smile) Joe, when Kathy gave me the news of your passing. All I could think of is what a great Brother, Uncle and Father the Lord has called home.. You will surely be missed, but the memories will live on . RIP Joe!!

Joe (Franklin) was a dear friend from high school. I didn't see him much after that but when I did, he was still the same sweet guy. He will be missed by many but most of all his family. May God bless and keep his family at this time of sorrow.

I just would love to say that I only knew Kathy.. she was a patient of mine and I love her very much .. (and Kathy’s daughter)..I never knew Joe.but knowing these two precious souls and their beautiful God loving hearts .. I feel like I have always known Joe and his beautiful loving heart , too.. I can look in the eyes of the posted picture of him.. and see so much love and faith .. his family was certainly surrounded by true agape love and that will be missed..but Joe fulfilled his purpose here on earth and is now with our Lord and Savior and we will all see him again with no pain, no tears , and no heartache.. Much love from my heart to all of his family and friends.. “Out of body .. in the arms of Christ Jesus.. Amen..

Not a moment will go by that you’re not physically missed but I am forever grateful for all the memories all the stories I get to share with my babies those are the moments I will hold on to forever.

To the man who helped raise my father. To a son, brother, husband, father, mentor, leader, confidant and so so much more it’s been a long, hard 2 years without you. But your light shined too bright for this earth. It got a wee bit dimmer down here when you left. But I know you’re free now and out of pain, so that makes it a little easier. Your light will be missed forever. I’ll miss you forever. Your singing, cooking, and long talks. There’s so many things i wish you were here for Most of all I wish you could have met my little girl or been at my college graduation.. but it’s okay cause you’re with the angels now. Just give all my loves a hug. Make sure you keep my path bright and lastly protect my girl forever. I know you’re with me. I know you’ve gotten to heaven where it’s beautiful. Until I get to the gates see ya later. ~ Forever your NylabaNyla
P.s. I know some angels eager to meet you at the gate they’ve been waiting on you

I feel like I lost another brother...When you have cousins like the Carters, it's like having a few extra sisters and another amazing brother around to share childhood experiences and memories with. I will forever hold Joe close to my heart, whenever I think about him it brings back happy memories of our childhood. He will be greatly missed but his warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered forever. May the comfort of God help you through this difficult time.

Because the victory belongs to Jesus, either Joe was going to live or he was going to live. Either he is going to be with family or he is going to be with family. Either he is going to be well taken care of or he is going to be well taken care of. The victory is in Jesus and he is resting in the peace and presence of our Heavenly Father.
My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Chrissy, Christiana, and little Joe I cannot tell you how sad and heartbroken I am for you all. I know how difficult this time is going to be for all of you and just know I’m here if you need anything. I can still see Joe trying to change my tire in front of Lake Arbor and it took him and Nelson over an hour. He never gave up. He was such a wonderful husband and father. I remember him going on the skating field trip with Christiana he was so patient and made everybody laugh. I hope the memories eventually bring you some peace.
