Carol Cross Obituary
Carol Lowe Cross, 80, of New Port Richey, Fla., passed away peacefully on May 2, 2023, at Gulfside Hospice, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. She was born in Baltimore, Md. on July 17, 1942. She graduated from Stafford High School in Fredericksburg, Va. She went on to work for IBM in Washington, D.C as an executive secretary for many years and several years as a travel agent in Northern Virginia. She loved to travel and was able to visit several countries throughout the world.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Elaine Cross Atkinson (Steven) of Ave Maria, Fla.;, son, Darrell Bladon Cross of Culpeper, Va.; grandchildren, Steven Clark Atkinson Jr. (Lua), Nicholas Daniel Atkinson, Madeleine Elaine Atkinson, and Benjamin Matthew Atkinson; brother James T. Lowe (Laura), Patricia E. Chinn (Mark) and John B. Daniel all of Fredericksburg, Va., as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Abram V. Daniel and Frances Clara Daniel.
