Kenneth W. Perren
Kenneth W. Perren, 71, died on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Lohffs Assisted Living in Whitewater, WI. He was born on August 2, 1951 in Galveston, TX to Homer and Shirley (Duquette) Perren, Sr. Ken was raised in La Crosse and served in the US Army. Ken was nice and caring and like to crack jokes to make people laugh. Ken was called the pizza man back in the day. Everyone downtown would yell to get some pizza from him. He would walk a cart full of pizza slices on 3rd and 4th Streets , would crack his jokes and sometimes give out free pizza to people he knew. Ken was kind to people and very much outspoken. He would tell it like he saw it. Ken really loved his kids a lot and even though he didn't get to know them much he would talk about them a lot and how he missed them. Ken loved his family very much.
He is survived by his children: Rebecca, and David; a sister, Patricia Andre-Perren and her family: Jason and Kristle Sveen and their kids: Skyler, Hannah, Kaleb, Tegan, Ethan, Amiya, and Sydney, Heather Sveen and her family: Decora, Kaleana, Amorina, and Azaleigha; brothers: Homer Perren, Tracy Perren and his family: Holly, Michael, Dusty, and Tristan; a nephew, Joey and a niece, Christina.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, David Masterson; grandmother, Ora Perren; sister-in-law, Renee Perren and nieces: Lacey Daily, Samantha Daily and Natasha Lewendowski.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crosse.

Knew Kenneth when he lived across the street from me for a short time. (Also known as from the Avenue.) He was the best friend anyone could have. He will always be remembered. Prayers for Kenneth and his family
