Nancy Norman Obituary

Nancy Jean Norman

Sep 18, 1935 - Feb 5, 2026

Nancy Norman (nee Frost) of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away on February 5, 2026. She is survived by her daughter, Heather (Clarke) Taylor; her son, Robert (Jera) Brown; her step-daughter, Carolyn Norman; her beloved grandchildren, Jasmin Brown, Cole Evans and Katelyn Evans; and her four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, David (Carol) Frost; her brother-in-law, Henry Levinson; and her beloved nieces and nephew, Jill, Marny, Betsy, and David.

She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Robert Norman of Tulsa; and sister-in-law, Mary (Bill) Estes of Kilgore, TX; as well as treasured bonus nieces and nephews in the Norman family. She always felt so blessed to be welcomed into this large, wonderful family upon her marriage to Bill Norman.

She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Janet Frost of LeRoy, New York; her sister, Betsy Levinson; her first husband, Terry Brown; and her husband and travel partner, William "Bill" Norman.

Nancy was born in Auburn, NY and grew up on the family farm along the Oatka Creek (McPherson Orchards) in LeRoy, New York. It was always her favorite place, and she loved walking the hills and through the orchards on the farm, it was "home." She was a proud graduate of Michigan State University and watched every football game. Nancy worked at the J.L. Hudson Company in retail and for many years was a travel agent, which was her passion.

She was proud to have traveled to 53 countries around the world and while she enjoyed the landmarks and history, it was the people she met that she loved the most. She instilled her love of travel in her children, grandchildren and everyone she met, given the chance. Nancy and her husband Bill spent the winters for years in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and loved the community and culture of Mexico. Nancy loved singing in the choir at Kirk of the Hills and was involved for years in Bible study and Circle. She loved playing tennis, bridge, entertaining, and cooking amazing meals for family and friends, reading, and was an avid gardener. Nancy also volunteered her time, serving for years with Meals on Wheels

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2026 at Kirk of the Hills. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's memory to FillingtheVoid.com, a local mission outreach to feed the homeless; or to Kirk of the Hills for missions.
