Henry W. Linck would have been 24 on Christmas Day. When his older brother, Michael, was five years old, he said he asked Santa for a little sister, but he got a little brother _ Henry _ instead. "I asked Santa to take him back. Now, I know it''s not possible, but I want Santa to bring him back," Michael Linck said. Linck, 23, of Manhattan, Kan., was killed Dec. 7 by a roadside bomb in Baghdad. He was assigned to Fort Richardson and received a GED when he was 17 at the Job Corps in Manhattan. Linck, an Army Ranger, had served in Iraq since October and had previously served in Afghanistan. Michael said his brother was in the middle of the application process for the Army''s Special Forces. "We always talked about moving out of Marysville and what we were going to do with our lives," said friend Justin Musil. "Everybody stops when they think they''ve hit their limits. Henry always tried to push you a little farther." He also is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sandra and Paul Fye, and father, Fredrick. "He died doing something he believed in and loved," Michael Linck said.
