Evelyn Collins Johnson

Evelyn Collins Johnson, age 83, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on
January 04, 2006, in Scottsdale, AZ. She was born in Drift, Kentucky, on September, 18, 1922, to Dennis and Lillie Watson Collins. She moved to Arizona in 1969 and retired from Scottsdale Memorial Hospital as an administrative assistant in 1981. She is survived by her son Dr. George K. Johnson, daughter in law Socorro, grandson William and granddaughter Christina of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by her sister Beth Paul of Scottsdale, AZ; her niece Debra L. Framer and husband James of Queen Creek, AZ. and her nephew Gary L. Roberts and his wife Laura and children Amanda, Amber and Garrett of Tucson, AZ. Evelyn was married to George W. Johnson for 56 years prior to his passing on August 31, 2004. Services will be held on Saturday, January 07, 2006, at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale, AZ at 3:00 p.m. with a one hour visitation prior to the service...In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. Burial will be at the Sunset Cemetery, Quincy, Kentucky.
