Corpus Christi - Pedro "Pete" P. Gonzalez, passed away on Thursday June 25, 2020, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on April 21, 1967, in Corpus Christi to Jesus Conde Gonzalez and Ana Maria Perez Gonzalez. He graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1985.

Pete joyfully embraced everything life had to offer and welcomed everyone he met with an open heart. Pete was a magnificent friend is who he was. Someone that stood out boldly among many, so as to seize every day in the ways only Pete knew best. Someone that I trusted and loved as someone I considered my own close friend, and would have likely done anything for, so as to have him return to us today. My biggest overwhelming regret upon learning of his passing is ever previously making the assumption that I would see him or talk to again soon, one of these days and just not reaching back out to him soon enough, and yet, here we are now. As someone I felt was in great shape for their age, Petes unexpected death highlights how fragile and unpredictable life is. I know at some point in person I told Pete that he meant a lot to me, but now Ill forever wish I could tell him once more, as my friend, as my brother, as my Germen (). We will forever miss you Pedro Gonzalez
