Clayton Mott Obituary
Clayton Edgar Mott, WWII Vet, beloved husband of Mary Alice, nee Parry, married Aug. 31, 1946. Born Feb. 23, 1926 to
Alice Grace Manny Mott and Edgar Clayton Mott. Loving father of Mary Lynn (Charles) Friedl, Alice Ann (William) Bluhm and Grace Elizabeth Mott; dearest brother of Margaret Threadgill and Virginia Bowling/Kaufield; proud grandfather of Nathan and Adam Friedl and Dallas and Casey Smith. Clay was also a proud "Unc" to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, July 24, 3 to 9 p.m. at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Ave., Des Plaines. Lying in state 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Servce 10 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church on Graceland Ave. in Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in his name appreciated. For info 847-699-9003.

Amanda and I would like you to know that we are thinking and praying for you and your family at this time. Please do accept our deepest sympathy with the passing of Clay. We had a chance to meet him and just enjoyed our time immensely as we talked. May you at this time continue to share the many fond memories that you have of your father Grace. I am so sorry that we could not be there with you at this time. God be with you and your family.
