Bill, I will never forget you. You were so smart and gifted with computers and yet you had a warm heart and cared about people. I worked along side you for seven years until I retired and then met you for lunch occasionally. You helped all of us with the terrible Long Range Facility Plan Web Site. When I retired, I passed the baton of Shop Steward on to you and together we created job security for our colleagues. I will miss you greatly because you were such a special person.

To Karin and the Bauer Family,

Please know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. Bill was a priceless jewel, an asset and friend to all. He will be greatly missed within the Department of Education. He was always friendly and willing to lend a helping hand wherever he was needed. (Proverbs 3:5-6) Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Continue to Trust in God and He will take care of you.
Prayerfully Submitted,
Daniel Henderson

Bill was a kind and loving person who did not avoid doing the right thing when it was unpopular. He was as upright as a tree planted in a clear field and his branches reached far and wide. Heaven has a new angel and we shall miss him always. Jeanne and Larry

My deepest sympathies and prayers to Karin and the entire Bauer Family. Words cannot begin to express my great sadness and disbelief, that a man so kind, so gentle, so smart, so funny, and so good could leave us long before his time. I first met Bill Bauer on a daily NJT commuter bus from Cherry Hill to Trenton over 20 years ago. Bill and I connected almost immediately as Rutgers Alumni, friends and most importantly, Christian Brothers. Bill served the citizens of the state of New Jersey with honor and distinction first in the Office of State Planning followed by the New Jersey Department of Education Office of School Facilities Financing. On a personal note, Bill was the guy I went to when I had a problem or needed advice. Bill was there at my kids christenings, my wife's computer not working at our home, and so many other acts of generosity. As cat lovers he would talk about his cat Jake. He was proud of his wife, parents and siblings. His loss will forever leave a hole in our hearts, but as fellow Christians we know we will be reunited in heaven. Thank you Bill!

Billy, I am so heartbroken that God called you home so suddenly, but I have comfort in knowing that you are in eternity and always admired your strong faith in God. You were a fighter, a leader, and had such a kind heart towards other people. You have taught me how to love unconditionally. May God place His loving arms around you and affirm to you that we will be okay until we meet again. Billy I love you, I miss you, and am praying for you every day. Rest in Peace
