Emmett Nealon Obituary
Emmett Francis Nealon, age 92, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away at home on April 27, 2018.
He was born November 5, 1925, in New York, NY, son of Michael E. Nealon and Jane O'Brien Nealon. He attended Evander Childs High School, Bronx, NY, and graduated from St. John's Prep, Danvers, MA, and Parks College of Aeronautical Engineering of St. Louis University.
His military service was with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He spent his entire business career with Sikorsky Aircraft, both in the U.S. and internationally.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Kathleen Kimball Nealon; sons Michael (Robin), Kevin (Susan), and Christopher; daughters Sharon and Kimberly; grandson Gable; granddaughter Kaitlin (Blake); great-granddaughter Brooke; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if you wish, a donation in his memory may be made to Hope Hospice, Development Office, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908, or https://donate.hopehcs.org/

To the Nealon Family, I worked with
Emmett at Sikorsky when he was in the Product Support department for a number of years. He was a fun person and was always so very proud of his family. So very sorry to hear of his passing and your loss.

Emmett was one of a kind and we will greatly miss him along with his wonderful sense of humor. He has left us with so many memories of fun times. Our prayers and love are with the family during this time.

I worked at Sikorsky with Emmet for a number of years when we were located at the offices in Westport. He was a fine man and a pleasure to be with. My condolences to his family on his passing. May he Rest In Peace.
