I never met Joe in person, but I'm glad I got to know him through our shared Bell ancestors. I greatly appreciated his generosity in sharing his research, and in helping me become a better researcher.

I, too, knew Joe from working together on the Bell family on WikiTree. He was an intelligent, thorough and thoughtful researcher who will be sorely missed.
I am very sorry for your loss, but know you find comfort with wonderful memories. My prayers for comfort and peace for your family.

I only knew Joe through all the work he did on the Bell family genealogy on Wikitree. Always was willing to share and made a tremendous contribution to it. Very sorry for your loss.

Sad to learn of your passing. You were on my email list for my weather articles. I wish I had gotten to know you better. I see that the funeral home is near Horsham Pa. I have never been there but my family had a summer home there and I have photos of my older sister and a oousin in a horse and buggy in Horsham. They sold that summer home before I got to be there or remember being there. I was born in Philadelphia.
We both cared about the Cerrillos Hills.
Since I am a mathematician I am now really curious about the books you wrote.
My condolences to your family.
