Anita taught me at Capilano College in the late 70s. She was a warm and inspiring teacher - someone who really made a difference. I still use my knowledge of "20th Century Music Theory" that she passed on.

I just learned about Dr. Anita's death...I am a friend of Grant's, who inherited her quirky humar, brilliant intellect, and love of music...so sorry Grant, I know how much you loved her, and how much she loved you and wanted the best for you. I hope you are OK...your old friend Kathy (Redwine) now Kathy Sassi.

A wonderful obituary to a wonderful woman! She built my dream of a community orchestra in West Vancouver, the Ambleside Orchestra. She will be sorely missed.
