In 1960, he married Joan Grant and they moved to Staten Island, New York. They had their first child, Jean, in 1961 and moved several times over the next several years between Los Angeles and New York. During this time, Michael completed his business degree at St. Johns University while working full time. He transitioned into working in the financial services business. He stayed in financial services for 25 years. In 1967, their second child, Mary was born. In 1970, the family moved to Santa Monica and finally settled in Pacific Palisades. They remained in Pacific Palisades today. He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish.
Michael was a good husband, father and grandfather. He was an intellectual, avid reader, business owner, dedicated dog rescuer and a devout Catholic. He will be missed.
