Eleanor PARSONS Obituary
The Parsons family is saddened to announce the passing of Eleanor on Tuesday September 16, 2014 at the age of 86 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Russell (Susan) and Linda, siblings; Robert (Laura), Doreen and Shirley (Bill), and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family and friends. She was predeceased by her son Gary.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Chapel (16204 Fort Road, Edmonton). Her Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Hi mom, It's been a year since you had to go and it still feels like yesterday. I don't think there are words to describe how much I miss you. You weren't just mom, you were my roommate, my travel companion, my partner in crime, but most of all you were my best friend. Every day is so empty without you, but thank god for family and friends, without them I don't know what I would do. Dan + Jordyn were married and have a cute little girl named Harley. At their wedding was a blown up picture of you and Gary on an easel so you guys could be there too! Every day we just put one foot in front of the other so we can try to go forward, it's tough pretty lady, but we learned from the best. Every illness you had was faced head on with strength and determination. So I try to follow my hero's lead to get through what's left for me. Memories of all our trips we had together and the laughs help a lot too! We had a good life together mom and when the time comes for me to go I know I won't be afraid because I will be with you again---My mom, my hero, my best friend.---Love + Miss you Linda ( Chic ) xoxo

We are so sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. I have been fortunate to know both you and your Mom since I was a girl. Your Mom was such a bright light, but think how much better the lights are wherever she is now. She will certainly be having a party of her own up there while we are celebrating her down here - that I know, for sure.

I had the honour of knowing Eleanor through working at her building. Her name to us was always Mrs. P. Everytime we saw her we demanded her attention. Her loving attitude and great sense of humor always drew us to her. I remember when i first started working there my manager said, "You have to meet Mrs.P!" And i am so glad i did. Got to hear some great stories about her growing up in a large family and getting an acting gig and we became good friends. For my birthday she gave me a card with an underwear key chain on it, i never thought an underwear key chain would mean so much to me now. There was never one time i saw her and she didnt instantly bring a smile to my face. Ill miss you so much Mrs. P. Thank you for your friendship and thank you for always brightening our day.
