James Lee Bush, 75, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Sunday, May 9, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO.

He was born January 19, 1946 to Wallace and Stella (Robinson) Bush in Kansas City, MO. James graduated from Turner High School in 1964 and immediately joined the United States Air Force. His career was as a hearing aid specialist for Hearing Lab Technology, located at the Sam's Club in Independence, MO. James loved working with his patients and improving their quality of life through improved hearing. He was a member of Timothy Lutheran Church in Blue Springs. James enjoyed Bible study groups and taught many Bible classes. He enjoyed a deep understanding of scripture and would share it with anyone who would listen. James loved camping and fly fishing at Bennett Springs.

Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Pam Bush of Blue Springs, MO; sons, Sean Bush (Rhonda), Matt Bush (Kelly); daughter, Stephanie Gregg (Donnie) all of Blue Springs, MO; grandchildren, Lindsey (Evan), Wesley, Christina, Audrey, Zachary, Kylee; great-grandchildren, Lilli, Lucas, Peyton, Owen.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Stella Bush; brothers, Billy, Eddie, and Terry.

His family will receive friends and family from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Timothy Lutheran Church, N.W. RD Mize Rd, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. A private family committal service with full military honors will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs.
