I was saddened to hear of the death of Sander Diamond. I have wonderful memories of Sander as a friend, neighbor and colleague during our years at Keuka and since then. My deepest sympathies to Susan, Meredith, Matthew and all of Sander's family.

Dr. Diamond was a very charismatic, knowledgeable, and passionate educator that drew students to his classes. I was on a Keuka trip with Dr. and Mrs. Diamond to the Soviet Union in the mid-80's; it was a memorable experience I will never forget. Years later, I came back to Keuka to finish my education; I was glad to learn that Dr. Diamond was still the gregarious icon that I remembered from years earlier. RIP

I was sadden to read of Sander's passing. It was always a joy to digress from his income tax interview into the many and varied experiences he relayed

Dr. Diamond was one of the most influential professors in my college career. His passion for history, his zeal for life and the energy that he gave his students was immeasurable. He will be greatly missed, but made his mark on so many lives!

Dr. Diamond your legacy lives on in your students. You welcomed me as a traditional student. Further welcoming me in my return to complete my undergraduate degree. I appreciate your gentle kindness, enthusiasm in teaching and commitment to giving back. Rest In Peace Professor. May your family find comfort as you gently heal. Surrounding you all with love.
