Michael J. Gamerdinger

Neenah - Michael John Gamerdinger, age 28, Neenah, left us unexpectedly January 4, 2021. A crushing blow…. but for Jesus. We serve a God who is greater than all of our pain. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Michael had such an easy, caring spirit and we loved all of the 28 years that we had with him. He was treasured as a son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He is survived by his parents, Matthew and Linda (Ramminger) Gamerdinger, his brothers Ricky Leach Jr. (Candace) and Curtis (Xaarki) Gamerdinger, his sister Krista Gamerdinger, his maternal grandmother Erma Ramminger, his paternal grandparents Jack(John) and Ruth Gamerdinger, nephews Mason and Maverick, nieces Aarya and Annalise, many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends as well as his beloved dog, Samson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ambrose Ramminger.

Michael loved playing basketball. From before he could talk, he would get excited in his stroller as he pointed out basketball hoops along our walks. We enjoyed watching him play on the Green Bay Christian Homeschool team, the Eagles. He also loved fishing. Our family spent lots of time pan fishing on Shawano Lake and salmon fishing on Lake Michigan.

Michael was also a car enthusiast. A mechanic by trade, he found his fit. When asked what made him interested in working on cars so much he answered, "puzzles". When he was young, he put together puzzles all the time. He once filled our entire floor with every puzzle that we had in the house.

Football was another passion and love of his that involved our whole family as we threw around a football at all of our gatherings. Every road trip included a football to throw around during our stops. Not to leave out golf, there were lots of good times spent on the course with his brothers and crazy stories to tell.

Anything outdoors drew him in, including 4-wheeling, motorcycle riding, hunting and bird watching.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 2021 at Calvary Bible Church, 1450 Oakridge Rd, Neenah, WI 54956. Visitation will take place from 9:00 am - 11:00 am with the service to follow.

We will long for him the rest of our days, but we won't grieve as those with no hope. Jesus is our hope and salvation. God has given us eternal life and this life is in His son, Jesus.

Remembering you and your loved one today and always. It appears that Michael led a very full life before God called him home. As a child of God’s, he will always be in you heart and on your mind until you meet again.

Michael and Curtis participated in a long, tedious, and super fun summer filming our own rendition of Robin Hood with other kids in the neighborhood. It is the most treasured summer of my childhood. Michael was easy going and full of ideas. I was a tough director but he was committed and on the longest days of our project I loved that it was still easy to make him laugh. My heart is broken for everyone who loves him. I will easily remember him fondly the rest of my days.
