Keaton Kroll Obituary
He is survived by his parents Kurt and Danielle Kroll; his siblings: Emerson Kroll and Aidan Kroll; grandparents: Allyn and Betty Kroll and Don and Carol Romeyn; aunts and uncles: Keith and Lori Kroll, Kyle and Amy Kroll, Sue and Doug Van Dussen, Ryan and Andrea Romeyn; cousins: Tyler and Caitlyn Kroll, Shawn and Megan Kroll, Ellisa Kroll, Morgan Kroll, Winter and Ellie Romeyn, Isaiah Romeyn, Maia Romeyn, Jacob Romeyn, Katie and Kevin Towne, Kyle and Liz Van Dussen, Korey and Aisha Van Dussen and nine second cousins.
He was preceded in death by his cousin Zachary Kroll in 2015.
Keaton and his family attend Engedi Church where he was active in the youth group. He worked at Culver's in Holland.
He was a sophomore at Zeeland East High School where he played soccer on the junior varsity team and one game on Varsity. Keaton played indoor soccer on the team Zeeland FC and USA Soccer Club.
Keaton was known for his big heart and infectious smile.
Visitation will be 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Engedi Church 710 Chicago Drive #100, Holland, MI. Interment will be in Zeeland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Beautiful Gate. yntemafh.com

I would like to express the deepest sympathy for the lost of this young man. Our schools had the privilege to face each other this year and whilst it was a competitive game all the players were respectful and the Zeeland boys gave us a good welcoming.

What a precious and infectious spirit he had! My daughter worked with him at Culvers and I will always remember his beautiful smile. My daughter also went to school with him at East and my son was actually playing on the other soccer team when this occurred. We are so very, very sorry for your loss as well as the community. May God give peace and comfort to your family and may his life live on to be a testimony for the Lord.

Alan and Betty, we are so sorry to hear about the loss of another grandson. They both seemed like really special men. Al and I remember your family from years ago. This is heartbreaking We didn't have the pleasure to meet him but My daughter and I were at the Holland hospital that night when his uncle came to ask for him and said that he passed away, my daughter and I were in shocked, I was shy to say I'm sorry for your lost and she was shy to hug the girl that she noticed was sad and crying, we prayed that night for that family and for the boy and family that we didn't know. Keaton was a good friend of mine. I worked with him at Culver's. Sunday, the 17th, was the first day I went in after he passed and it was rough. I didn't want to be there that day knowing I wouldn't see him there. He was one of the greatest men I know. Had a big heart and he loved God and loved people...the true mission. I honor Keaton Kroll today.
