Jeffrey Virgil Ellison

TERRE HAUTE, IN - Jeffrey Virgil Ellison, 54, of Terre Haute, IN and formerly of Arcola, IL passed away at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at his residence in Terre Haute, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2005 at the Edwards funeral Home, 221 East Main Street, Arcola, IL. Brother Mack Fox will officiate. The burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cooks Mills, Illinois. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Virgil was born January 3, 1951 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Donald B. and Wanetta H. (Scotton) Ellison. Survivors include two brothers, David J. Ellison, and his wife, Sandi, of Omaha, NE and Donald R. Ellison, and his wife, Arlene, of Knoxville, TN; one sister, Erma Ellison King Edwards, of Arcola, IL; several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, David Lee King. Virgil was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ in Terre Haute, Indiana. Virgil owned and operated an auto glass repair business in Terre Haute, IN for several years. He enjoyed collecting antiques. Virgil helped many people throughout his life; going the extra mile and turning the other cheek many times. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
