Marcy and Rick,
I've just come across this news and am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember my Aunt Martha and Uncle Dave talking about your dad many years ago, and even met him once or twice in St. Louis. My heartfelt condolences to all of you. I know it was a great run, and I'm sure he will be missed. Thinking of you both, with affection. Liz Sode

Dear Fry Family,
We saw the notice of Al's passing in the Star. The Yakes mentioned it to us. The closeness of your family was always special. He had many good years in life. Our sympathy to all of you.

To Al's family,
My earliest memories of Al were when he visited our home when I was a child on his trips from St. Louis to Kansas City. These memories from long ago are so vivid because he entertained my brother and me, not to mention my parents, with his wit and tremendous goodwill. This continued even more so when he and Gloria moved to Kansas City. I know that my parents always looked forward to seeing them and I'm especially grateful for Al's friendship with my moom after Dad passed away. What a wonderful man!
