Barbara Jean Chambers

Knoxvlle - Barbara Jean Chambers, age 93, of Knoxville, passed away on January 9, 2021. She retired from Millers Department Store after over 40 years in the book department. She was a member of First Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys Brimer Legg; father, Joseph Legg and brother, David Leon Legg. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Lynn McFall and Shirley Ann Westbrook; grandchildren, Laura Leigh Bland and Melanie McFall Loveday (Allen Helton); great grandchildren, Cayden Bland, Ty Johnston, and Allana Helton. A special thank you to the staff of NHC Knoxville for their loving care. Also her North Hills Neighbors for their continued kindness over the years. Family and friends will gather at 12:45 pm, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery for 1:00 pm graveside service with Rev. Dr. Alan Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Young Williams Animal Center in her honor. Online condolences may be extended at
