McArthur Blaine Davis was born October 26, 1944 in Lake City, Florida to Rosa Jeanette Tunsil-Davis and Willie James Davis, Sr. They preceded him in death. "Mac" slept away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. "Grandpa"," Uncle Mac", and "Boss Man" as he was affectionately called, was employed for over 40 years with Nettles Sausage, a pork and beef processing plant, retiring only after an unfortunate work-related accident. Mac was well known in the community for his hospitality, and being the life of the party; one who never met a stranger. His dance moves and famous cracklings "Pork skins" will never be duplicated or forgotten. Mac's humble spirit never wavered no matter the circumstance. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Other precedents in death include: Son, Zack Davis; sisters, Mary Miller, Ruby Powell and Ruthie Davis; brothers, Willie James Davis, Jr., Sammie Davis and Frank Davis.
