Dr. Lawrence Wiser
December 19, 2016
Sadly, I just learned of Larry's passing today. I knew that he was fighting cancer but, like everything else in his life, I thought he would win this battle. Larry was one of those "rare" people who would not abandon you when you were in trouble; and yes, we had "many" coffees together. A strategic thinker and a close friend. I will miss you indeed, Larry.

Deb and family: Larry was the type of person who had great impact on anyone's life his path crossed. He treated me with kindness from the moment i met him until I hugged him goodbye in the hospital. His gruff exterior masked a heart of gold, and i will never forget what he taught me about tennis and life in a way that only he could.

I was a very close friend to Larry long before the 1999-2000 federal election campaign that determined a new local federal Conservative prominence which remains in effect to this day. From that point in time, we became even closer friends as I was deeply involved in the campaign. Over the years and after literally dozens of Tim's coffee visits, Larry and I clicked on a wide scale of interests. I will miss him greatly; but I know many others will as well!
My deepest sympathy to Deb, Danielle, Jenna and all the boys.
Sincerely, Joe Lomas

Debbie I was so sorry to hear about Larrys passing. I always enjoyed playing tennis on Wednesdays and Larry would sometimes sub and become one of the ladies. Seeing him at the Lakeshore tennis club playing tennis and his beloved dog boots waiting under the trees for his best friend to be done. Take care of yourself and if you ever want to or need to talk please don't hesitate to give me a call.
He will be missed by so many people.
