Momma Clarissa everyday I’m blessed to have grown up with you and observe, remember and carry your blessings on to my children and I’m blessed everyday in being able to give others a helping hand no matter how big or small. What a joy that goes thru my entire body. My mom and I are so thankful for you. You went thru life with a smile on your face and a giving loving hand and such soft beautiful voice. Hi momma Rogers. I miss seeing you on this earth. You are in my thoughts everyday. As I age and mature I realize and thank God everyday that you were one of my other moms. You have taught me calmness, forgiving others, helping others, even if I'm having a bad day and in fact do more for others when I'm having a bad day as it truly does medicate me. As I'm walking alongside my aging mom I stop and thank God for you and all your children that love my mom. Thankful that they have always been there for her and she can still call and talk with them. Ms Rogers (Walker) was the pillar of our community - not only the Bryant community but south Minneapolis as a whole. She had a wonderful spirit and in almost 50 years I have never heard her say an unkind word - or for that matter raise her voice; and she was a parent from the ole school days - when your neighbor could "get cha" and you would then get got at home for being gotten by a neighbor. Her spirit will continue to be a part of this universe as one of the Creators greatest angels.
