Mr. Cheer, always a joke or a smile, a good hugger too. Buddy loved the life here in the Canyon, and leaves behind many friends who will miss him. May there be Blue skies and green grass forever with a putting green just ahead.

Papa, as my kids and I called him was a great dad and grandpa to my kids and I. He was caring, nurturing, understanding, funny, and had a lot of great stories to tell about his life and history in how things were “back in the day”. As he would say. My kids and I loved papa so much and he will always be in our hearts. I will always remember his smile ear to ear smile.

I have known Buddy for 13 years since we moved from Washington state to Cathedral City. We spent many fun times together laughing and storytelling. We played golf, shot pool, and enjoyed many a cold one on his patio. I will miss his friendship, kind heart, and joy for life. My condolences to his wonderful wife, Carol, and his family.
