Thomas Patterson Obituary
AGE: 82 • Eatontown
Thomas Lewis Patterson, 82, of Eatontown and one time resident of Tinton Falls passed away on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Thomas was born in Harlem N.Y to the late Seymon and Redyna Patterson. Thomas was a 23 year veteran of the US Army, retiring as Sergeant First Class in 1970. He continued a career in communications with AT&T in NYC for 18 years which he retired as a Supervisor.
Thomas was predeceased by his parents; a daughter, Arvella Patterson and a sister, Phylis Patterson. He is survived by his children, Demetrius and Saralyn Patterson and their mother, Loretta Patterson; four grandchildren, Aaron, Dayon, Yuri and Yah-nie and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8pm at the John E Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank. A funeral home service will take place on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 11:30am. Interment will follow at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery.
