My condolences. I met him many years ago. He was one of my first patients when I was a student. Staff were deciding if a student should be involved with his care and he said he was very okay with letting new nurses learn on/with him. He was so encouraging and kind. He led me to know I chose the right field of work. He talked about his family often and his love for them and his new grand babies. He loved showing me pictures of his family and the babies. What a great man. And will be missed by many.

We have been neighbours and friends with Jim for many years. We had many wonderful times together. Jim shared his humour and love for music whenever he could and you had to be sharp to keep up with his wit. We offer our condolences to Jim's family. We will miss him very much.
