MOUNT CARMEL — Patricia J. Tobias, 71, of 2616 Locust Gap Highway, formerly of Sheridan Court, Coal Township, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

She was born Sept. 2, 1944 in Danville, a daughter of the late Florian and Ruth (Deitz) Cerklewski.

She was a graduate of the Coal Township High School.

A lifelong resident of the Shamokin area, she was employed at Ashland Shirt Co. and Morris Manufacturing as a presser.

She was of the Protestant faith and attended services at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Tharptown.

Patricia is survived by her sister, Judith Cerklewski Black, of York; her brother, Florian L. Cerklewski and his wife, Irene, of Corvallis, Oregon; and numerous nephews and nieces.

TOBIAS — Patricia J. Tobias, 71, of 2616 Locust Gap Highway, Mount Carmel. There will be no visitation or hours of calling. Service at Odd Fellows Cemetery, with Pastor Bonnie Alleman officiating, will be announced at a later date. Leonard J. Lucas Funeral Home, Ltd., Leonard J. Lucas Jr., 120 S. Market St., Shamokin, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
