ELIZABETHTOWN - Pearl G. Thomas Anderson, 92, formerly of Chambers Hill, Mechanicsburg, and Shamokin, passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at the Masonic Village.

She was born Nov. 29, 1928, in Shamokin, the daughter of the late Charles and Emma James Thomas.

Pearl was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She had worked at the former Shroyer Dress Factory and W.T. Grant's, both of Shamokin.

Pearl was a 1946 graduate of Shamokin High School.

She attended Chambers Hill United Methodist Church.

Pearl was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing and photography.

Above all else, Pearl's dedication and passion were caring for her family and home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Richard Anderson, on May 26, 2018; and by a brother, Robert Thomas.

Pearl is survived by two sons, Lon J. Anderson, husband of Kaye W., of Chambers Hill, and Terry L. Anderson, fiancé of Linda G. Kerin, of Owings Mills, Maryland; one daughter, Jennifer L. Ward, wife of Larry K., of Mechanicsburg; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

ANDERSON - A private service will be held for Pearl. Interment will be in the Chambers Hill Cemetery. Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc. 114 W. Main St., Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chambers Hill United Methodist Church, 6300 Chambers Hill Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111, to support its Music Ministry.
