Sandra Faye Nazzaro
Sparta - Sandra Faye Nazzaro, 77, of Sparta, NJ passed into eternal life on January 2, 2021.
Sandra was born in Alabama on May 27, 1943 and grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. She met and married her loving husband James Nazzaro while he was stationed there during his service with the USAF. The couple were married in June, 1964. In 1972, they moved to Sparta, NJ where they raised 4 daughters, Angela, Laurie, Jennifer and Sherry.
A resident of Sparta for 49 years, Sandy was well known in the community. As a proud mother of four daughters, she could be seen at all of her children's activities from softball, little league football games, and cheerleading competitions to gymnastics. She was easily their biggest fan.
A homemaker in the truest sense of the word, she loved her neighbors and enjoyed opening her home to all of the neighborhood kids so they would always have a place to hang out 24/7. She was an artistic and creative person.
Both she and Jim were big hockey fans, especially of the New Jersey Devils. She loved to watch sports on TV and loved country music.
Sandy was predeceased by her eldest daughter Angela Zoppy, and her loving husband of 47 years, James Nazzaro.
Surviving are three daughters, Laurie Lorenzo and her husband Tim of Hackettstown, NJ, Jennifer Bellafiore of Malverne, NY and Sherry Nazzaro and her husband Mason Kaur of Alexandria, VA, 4 grandchildren; Julia Rose, James, Jack and Lily Grace and a brother Donald and his wife Lu of Las Vegas, NV.
Friends and Family will be invited to attend a memorial celebration of her life in the spring.
