Francis Brunn Obituary

BRUNN - Francis, 1922-2004. Francis Brunn, billed by Ringling Brothers and Bailey as the greatest juggler in the world, passed away on May 28, 2004 in Frankfurt, Germany. Born in Aschaffenburg, Germany in 1922, Mr. Brunn traveled and performed throughout the world and made his home in New York City. With an artistic career spanning over sixty years, Mr. Brunn took the art of juggling to another dimension. He started juggling with his sister, Lottie Brunn Chirrick, and from there went on to perform with all the greats, including Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Danny Kaye, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Dean Martin. He continues to influence artists internationally with his choreographic genius and inspiration. His most recent project, "Incognito", is a culmination of his love of flamenco, dance and show business. Whatever Mr. Brunn did, he did it all the way, his way. Francis Brunn is survived by his companion and artistic partner, Nathalie Enterline, by his son, Raphael Brunn, a Flamenco guitarist, his daughter Christina Brunn Price, and his grandson, Eric Price. He was also a devoted brother to Lottie Chirrick and her husband Ted, of Milton, PA, Anni Weisshaupt of Elmwood Park, NJ, Jutta Mercado and her husband Kenneth of Huntington, CT and Ernst Montego Kuhn and his wife Lorena, of Germany. Francis is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services provided by The Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 201-444-7650. Family and friends may attend the service which will be held at the funeral home at 12 Noon on Saturday. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
