Gayle Booth Obituary
Gayle L. Booth, 97, went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2017.
Born in Mogadore, Ohio on January 17, 1920 to Chauncey and Maude (Smith) Stark, she was an area resident all of her life. Gayle, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, attended Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren and was past president of American Legion Auxiliary Post 436.
Preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Donald and daughters, Kathleen Meadows and Karen Seil, she is survived by her loving family: daughters, Claudia (Danny) Rocus and Colleen (Leroy) Craigg; sister, Sandra Draper; sons-in-law, Richard Meadows and Herbert Seil; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and many other cherished relatives and friends.
Visitation Wednesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Pastor Bruce Jacobsen officiating. Burial at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. For those wishing, memorials may be made in her name to Haven of Rest or Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren.
