Wilmington, DE, died at home after a long illness. Born in Omaha, NE, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Abboud and Marie Abboud. She graduated from St. Mary's High School, Omaha in 1950. She had a passion for music from a young age and was an accomplished pianist. Karol was a long time employee of ICI Americas where she worked as a Reference Librarian. In 1979 she earned her bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Neumann University, Aston, PA. After retirement she taught piano for several years. Karol was preceded in death by her son, Mark W. Killinger, in 2004. Survivors include her daughter, Jessica L. Killinger; brother, Jesse R. Abboud; nieces, Christine Abboud El-Bakri (Salah), Michelle J. Abboud; great nephew, Riyad El-Bakri.
MEMORIAL SERVICE to be held Sat., Aug. 13th in Wilmington, DE. Private Internment.
