We are hurting inside as we think of your loss. You are in our thoughts and in our prayers. May God give you the courage and the strenght that you all need right now. Comfort yourselves with the wonderful memories that he left behind and cherish them in your hearts... Know that we are here for you.

Dear Aunt Eleanor, all my cousins and the rest of the family,
Your husband, father, and grandfather, my uncle was a special man. I remember him as a tall, calm and sensitive man. A loving man with a big heart. An artist that entertained people by making them laugh and making them feel good through his music.
He was a Leo just like me. I remember him taking care of his physique and appearance by doing sit-ups, push-ups and by jogging to stay trim and fit. We had this in common!!
I will surely miss him and his wise words. I hope the good memories of him will help to ease your pain and sorrow.
Your are all in our thoughts and prayers,
Brigitte :o) and Ted

Mme Joly, Maryse, Micheline and family,
I would like to wish my sincere condolences to the family. I was surpirsed and sorry to hear about your husband/father. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your loved ones during this difficult time. He is a great man who new how to make people feel at ease, and how to make them laugh. It has been a while since I have seen the family but I remember when he gave me guitare lessons a few years ago, ok ok a long time ago, he sure new how to get my attention and to get me to focus on what I was supposed to be doing. He will be missed, but I am certain that even from above he will find a way to communicate with each and everyone of you...

Dear Eleanor and Family,
Our hearts are with you as you feel the incredible loss of your soul-mate, father and grandfather.
Gerry will always be in our hearts too. Rhéo and I often reminisce the days of the 'Gerry Joly Duo' - the 'Belle Claire', and all the wonderful times we had together with music, in the early days of our new families.
Gerry lives on in giving through his music - even here in Florida 'Mille Après Mille' is a frequent request of the line dancers Rhéo plays for. May this and all his other legacies warm your heart, and sooth the pain of loss.
With heartfelt sympathy and love. Rhéo and Shirley.

Dearest Eleanor and all you kids (well adults now). Some of you might not remember us but, I want to tell you how much Gerry meant to me, Richard and all of my family. He was a very good man with a very big heart - so I know he will save us all a place in his new home and wait for each and everyone of you. While we may have moved out of the city, I am adamant in telling you: We love you Eleanor, Guy, Guylaine, Manon, Maryse, Micheline, Nina and Gerald. Our prayers and sympathy goes out to you!
We loved you Gerry and always will. I am sure you knew this dear dear friend ! 'Till we meet again'

Aunt Eleanor, Guylaine, Guy, Manon, Maryse, Micheline, Nina, Little Gerry...I will miss my uncle's ever present smile, his welcoming hugs and always hearing him tell me he loved me.
I took great pride in admitting to people who asked me who he was after walking him out of the VIP lounge at the airport. "That's my uncle!"
Rest easy m'oncle.
I love you all.
