PAWTUCKET - Lillian M. (Larkin) Choches passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter S. "Chuck" Choches for 59 years.

Born in Pawtucket, RI, she was a lifelong resident, daughter of the late John E., Jr. and Adrienne R. (Cote) Larkin. Lil and Chuck both lived all their lives a half mile from where they were born.

Lillian was a direct descendant of Edward Larkin, who settled in Newport, RI in 1655. She was a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution - Narragansett - Cooke - Gaspee Chapter, member of the Auxiliary VFW Post #306, widow life member of Tri-City Elks Lodge #14, member of the Leon Mathieu Senior Center, member of the RI Genealogical Society, and several humane animal societies.

Before retiring in 1986, Lillian was a bookkeeper for 19 years at Paramount Sales Company, and for 15 years at Joseph P. Fournier Real Estate.

Lillian and her husband Chuck enjoyed many cruises and traveled in the US and extensively abroad, visiting many foreign parts and countries. Among their favorites were The Holy Land in Israel and Egypt.

Lillian's lifetime passion was the welfare of helpless, homeless animals. She will be remembered for keeping her yard adorned with multitudes of pink impatiens.

She is survived by her dear daughter, Nancy L. Brusby, and her husband, Dave, of Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, as well as her son-in-law, Stephen B. O'Brien of Wakefield, RI. Lillian was pre-deceased by her cherished daughter Carol L. Choches - O'Brien. She leaves her grandson Shaun O'Brien, 23 Brusby grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, cousins, and niece of the heart Sherry Scales. She also leaves her treasured cats, Daisy and Buddy Boy.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. VISITATION will be Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.

Lillian was a patient of mine at Dr Forti’s dental office. She and I would always talk “cats”. She was a lovely woman and I will always remember her fondly. Rest In Peace, Lil.
Warm regards,
