Marjorie Wilkerson Obituary
PEORIA - Marjorie C. Wilkerson, 97, of Peoria passed away at 5:01 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at UnityPoint Health-Proctor in Peoria.
Marjorie was born on June 25, 1918, to George R. and Ruby M. (Keller) Moyer. She married Joseph W. Wilkerson on Feb. 13, 1944. He preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 1976.
She is survived by her grandson, Erich Dievendorf of Glendale, Ariz.; two nephews; and a son-in-law, Richard Dievendorf of Pontiac, Ill.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Marilyn Dievendorf; and her sister, Virginia Wigginton.
She was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church and United Presbyterian Church in Peoria.
Marjorie was an insurance adjuster for many years with Westfield Companies. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
A graveside service will take place at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at the Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
Memorials may be made to United Presbyterian Church in Peoria.
