Timothy Arndt Obituary
TOLUCA - Timothy N. Arndt, 59, of Fontana, California, formerly of Toluca, died Saturday, November 10, 2018, at his home, surrounded by his wife, son and family.
He was born on November 10, 1959, in Streator, Illinois, to John and La Vonne Arndt. He married Cindy Holocker on September 25, 1993, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Timmy loved his family and enjoyed playing cards, reading and golfing. Tim and his Cinderella loved to travel and especially loved their animals. In addition to his love for family and friends, he was extremely devoted to his employment at Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc., where he was a Senior Director of Corporate purchasing for 36 years and 5 months. Everyone who knew Timmy will know he was an extremely smart, caring, selfless man. His humor was contagious and his compassion for others was unmet. If you were a friend to Tim and Cindy, you become a part of their family. Timmy and Cindy held so many benefits for anyone that was in need, even as far as raising over $40K to the families of 9-11. Though he lost his fight with cancer, Timmy lived a wonderful life and strongly believed it's not about the quantity of years we live, it's about the quality. Timmy led a quality life!
Timmy is survived by his wife, Cindy Arndt; son, Cole M. Arndt of Fontana, California; his mother, La Vonne (Bonny); brothers, John K. (Mary Jo) Arndt, Robert (Carol) Arndt; and sister, Lu Ann (Ralph) Swanson, all of Rutland, Illinois. He is also survived by his two granddaughters, Alayah and Ella of Redlands, California; and son, Jake Arndt and grandson, Oresto, of Toluca, IL. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Linda Holocker of Lacon, Illinois; three sisters-in-law, Tanna Bohm of Toluca, Julie Hololcker of Lacon, Illinois, and Laurie (Don) Breckenridge of Lacon, Illinois; and lots of nieces and nephews, whom he loved with all his heart.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a visitation will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home in Toluca. A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2018, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Toluca, with the Franciscan Friars officiating.

I have had the honor of working with Tim as one of his vendors for over 15 years. Tim worked every day through his treatments, and made time for his colleagues and suppliers. Tim was always so kind and fair; we all thought the world of him. I am very sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go to his family and loved ones. Linda Mutch

Cindy...you have my sympathy...I will always remember Tim, he was a great guy. I help take care of the softball tournament during Labor Day and Tim took care of me....a great friend....RIP Tim, you are one of the greatest
