Sallie B. Glenn our beloved mother was born in Hurtsboro, AL to Emmit and Lessie B. Borom-Jones on August 20, 1927. She went to 12th Street Elementary School and Carver High School. In 1957 after relocating to Anniston, AL she married Curtis Glenn. To this union 3 children were born: Renitta (Lorenzo) Stout Sr., Roosevelt (Loreen) Glenn and son Anthony Glenn who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers. She was a member of New Mount Sinai Baptist Church and Mother's Board. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Sallie retired from the Lake Ridge School System as a Headstart Teacher. Sallie exchanged time for eternity July 28, 2017 at Methodist Hospital Northlake. Funeral service Saturday August 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 9 to 11:00 a.m. at New Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, 3140 W. 21st Ave. Gary, IN. Officiant Pastor Anthony Owens. Eulogy Pastor Edward C. Turner. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park.
