Fannie Anderson made her heavenly transition on December 3, 2018, surrounded by loved ones, in her home. Fannie retired from Bethlehem Steel Corporation after becoming the first female heater in the history of the plant. Fannie leaves to mourn her 5 children Bobbie (Levi) McIntosh, Linda (Ivan) Anderson, Willie (Cleo) Anderson, Ronnie (Sherry) Anderson and Donnie (Felicia) Anderson. Visitation: Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 12-8pm with family hours 6-8pm at the Guy & Allen Chapel. Funeral services Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11:00a.m. New Mt. Moriah M.B. Church 1917 Carolina St., Gary, IN. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.

My prayers are with the Fannie Anderson family. I worked with Fannie a number of years,she was a great lady,a very hard working one. She was my play mother as she called it.My heart is broken.
