Jesse Jones Jr. (Jay), 54, lifelong Gary, IN resident, passed away suddenly on January 5, 2019 at Methodist Hospital Southlake. He is preceded in death by parents, Jesse and Barbara Jones, and brother, Kevin. His faith journey led him to Christ as an adult. Roosevelt High School's Class of 1982 will remember him for his humor and wit. His longtime Red Roof Inn coworkers consider him family. Jesse's legacy includes his daughter, Brittney Williams (Jeremy Williams); granddaughters, Jordynn and Jessie; sisters, Karla Jones and Felicia Jones; nephew, Isaiah Jones. He also leaves cherished family, and friends. Visitation Friday, January 11, 2019 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. followed by homegoing celebration at 11:00 a.m. both at the Guy and Allen Funeral Home 2959 W 11th Avenue, Gary, IN. Pastor Marvin Clark officiating. Interment immediately following at Fern Oaks Cemetery in Griffith, IN.
