Lois L. Reetz

Menasha - Lois L. Reetz, age 92, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2021 at Cherry Meadows. She was born September 17, 1928 to Raymond and Geneva (Crober) Terrian, one of seven children.

As the story goes, she met the love of her life, Carl, on a blind date that didn't go well. A second chance, and they never looked back. They were happily married for 61 years until Carl's passing in 2009.

Lois and Carl loved to travel and took many road trips during their married life. Lois loved to play Bingo at Oneida until her health prevented her that simple pleasure. Lois liked to reminisce about anything and everything. She would get laughing while sharing her stories and before you knew it, the whole room was laughing too - she had a way to brighten your day.

Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Carla Reetz and Kathy Reetz; her grandchildren: Jamie (Mary) Jurgella; Hanna (Steve) Mantel; and Eric Balthazor; her five great-grandchildren: Brady and Carley Jurgella; Maggie and Emma Mantel; and Lola Balthazor. She is further survived by her sisters: Doris Williams and Elonda Hammond; and her only brother, Richard (Connie) Terrian; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; daughter, Wendy; sisters: Isabelle Terrian; Arlene Rohloff; Sandy Bellin; sons-in-law, Jim Reetz and Steve Balthzor, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Let it be known, Lois' death was not COVID-19 related.

In honor of Lois' wishes, there will be no funeral.

I would see you once in awhile when we would pickup Carla. You always so sweet and so kind. If we came to the door you would talk to us and if we came by car you always waved. I know you are at peace now and family are all coming to greet you and to show you around. Lois can I ask you a favor? When we go to Carl’s house for happy hour, please keep us safe. I’m just teasing. You will be missed❤
