Ronald "Pappa" Pyszora

Appleton - Ronald "Pappa" L. Pyszora, 78, of Appleton passed away peacefully on Sunday April 4, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 27, 1942 at Saint Joseph, Missouri. The son of Andrew and Genevieve (Hannas) Pyszora. Ronald was a baker and in 1987 he opened the Pappas Café in Neenah. On December 27, 1994 he married Debra Spears at the Excalibur in Las Vegas. In his free time Ronald enjoyed going to the casino, and was a big fan of all the Wisconsin sports. Ronald loved going to the World Soft Ball (Fast Pitch) Tournaments around the Midwest, Ronald even played slow pitched softball. He also enjoyed cooking and baking for his family and friends but his absolute joy was spending time with his family.

Ronald is survived by: his wife Debra Pyszora of Appleton. (5) Children: Todd (Julie) Pyszora of Waukesha, David Pyszora of Neenah, Gilbert (Renee) Walbridge Pennsylvania, Jody Waldbridge of Appleton. Laurie Behnke of Neenah. (7) Grandchildren: Emily, Rachel, Savanna (Jake), Destiny, Christian, Anna, Alli, Isaiah, Zack. (2) Great Granddaughters: Amelia, Brynlee. (1) Sister: Andrea Spears. (1) Niece: Jessica and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Ricky in 2000, brother: Pete in 2001.

Memorial Service will be on Monday April 12, 2021 at 3:30 PM at Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel (1592 Oneida St. Menasha, WI 54952). Pastor Steve Dietzler will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday April 12, 2021 from 2:00 PM until the hour of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Special Olympics of Wisconsin ( in Ronald's memory.

A Special Thank You to Hospice nurse Ben and CNA Tina for the great care Ronald got when he was at his home. Thank you to Cherry Meadows for the care he got when he was there.

I'm so sorry to hear of Ron's passing I enjoyed working with Ron years ago he was such a great guy, he made our working days so much better, I will truly miss him
