News Death Notice
HARMON, Darren Lamont 47, of Springfield passed away July 31, 2014 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. Darren was born January 10, 1967 the son of Linda C.(Harmon) Higgins and Wayne "Hammer" Stevens. His memory will be cherished by his grandmother, Mosella Stevens; daughters, Tarryn and Jessica Frazier and Darreana Harmon; brother, Benjamin Macklin Jr.; sisters, Porcia Higgins, Renee "Neccy" Stevens and Vita Stevens Scott; grandchildren, Ghi'Ayra Palmer and Jonah Frazier; aunts, Angela Owens, Pearla (Joseph) Parks and Avella "Meme" Stevens-Brown; uncles, Daniel Jr., Vincent "Rick" and David Harmon, Eldon Woody, Bobby and Dale "Tweet" Stevens. Darren was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, Daniel and Mildred Harmon and paternal grandfather, Eldon "Bits" Stevens. Visitation will be Saturday August 9, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. at Restored Life Ministries, 1117 Innisfallen Avenue. Arrangements provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
