Sarah Beth Whiting Knestrick, Age 42 of Norwalk, CT
Sarah passed away peacefully March 6th, 2014 at Stamford Hospital following a three year battle with cervical cancer.
Sarah's greatest joy was her family. She always spent as much time with her husband and children as possible. She was able to make the most mundane things very special. She was thoughtful, caring and would always go out of her way to help a friend or even a stranger.
The family deeply thanks the community for coming together to help us in our time of need. The support during this time is something we will never forget.
Sarah was an accomplished graphic designer working with many design companies. She produced graphics ranging from creating new art designs for materials to layout of all kinds of specialized stationery.
Sarah was a trained artist who worked her way through school while attending the Connecticut Institute of Art. She had a strong passion for many forms of art. She loved to photograph everything capturing the beauty of the composition.
Born in London England, she spent time traveling frequently between London and New York.
She is survived by husband David Knestrick and three young children. Survived by father Leonard John Whiting, Brother Allan Sachs, Sisters Susan Fedorko, Laura Sachs, and Charlotte Westenra. Predeceased by Mother Catherine Dahmen Sachs
Private graveside service will occur Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Mount Olivet in Nashville, Tennessee. There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 2pm at Noroton Presbyterian Church, 2011 Post Road, Darien CT.
