Burton James Sunbury Burton James Sunbury, age 55, passed away on Oct. 25, 2010 at St. David's South Austin Hospital. He is survived by his loving son Burton Sunbury Jr. of Kyle; his parents, Richard and Ann Sunbury of Austin; his sister, Karen Brown of Alexandria, VA; and his brother Keith Sunbury and his wife Lisa of Ocean City, MD. Burton graduated from David Crockett High School in 1973. He had a passion for music and songwriting and enjoyed performing with his band, Burton and the Freefallers. A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, October 28th at 10:00 a.m. in the Smith Family Chapel at the Riverbend Church, 4214 Capital of Texas Hwy North, Austin, TX 78746. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, PO Box 301496, Austin, TX 78703-0025 or online at http://www.myhaam.org/.

It is with the deepest heartfelt sympathy for th Burton family and his son BJ. Burton was a kind,loving and generous person. It was a previlege and honor to know him.

A sweet and kind soul - we will sure miss him. I'll always remember him coming to my rescue when my car died. Boyfriend out of town; dad in another state; guy friends MIA - Burton was there to help me. What a good guy. I wish him peace. My condolences to his loving family.
