October 25, 1926 - February 20, 2021 Passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness. Survived by his wife of over 70 years, Phyliss, son Randy (Anita), daughter Laurie (Jim) Lomas, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers John and Stewart, and his sister May. George was one of the first recipients of the "Order of Niagara" by the Niagara Anglican Diocese. Founding member of St. Columba Church, Past High Chief Ranger of Independent Order of Foresters, Past Master of St. Andrews Lodge and a Steward of the Grand Lodge of Ontario, member of the Old Boys Lacrosse Association. As per George's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to PASSFIELD MORTUARY SERVICES INC. (905) 682 0474. If desired, donations may be made to St. Columba Church or to a charity of one's choice. A private family services has taken place. An interment of his cremated remains will be held at a later date.
