Barbara Gaithe Obituary
Barbara passed peacefully in her home of natural causes, surrounded by family. She traveled the world as a military wife and mother of four boys who were her pride and joy. When they settled down after military life, she became a nurse. She retired from Sparks Hospital after many years of caring for others. She was kind, loving, smart, witty, an avid reader, and a master of crossword puzzles. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, granny and great granny. Those who knew and loved her will miss her dearly.
Barbara is survived by three sons: Leon (Jackie) Gaithe, Mark (Kari) Gaithe, and David Gaithe (Larry); her sister Betty (Dale) Luper; and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Everett and Minnie Mae Seaman; her son, Orland Gaithe, Jr.; her brother, Everett "Bud" Seaman, Jr.; and her sister, Rosemary Chase.

I worked with Barbara at Sparks Reg. Med. Center. She was always kind and loving. She liked to laugh and always had a smile. A wonderful nurse and friend.
