Mary Agnes (Professor)
Wife of the late Professor H. J. McCloskey died peacefully after a long illness at Mecwacare, Malvern on Wednesday, 11th May, 2016.
A gifted lecturer and teacher who devoted her life to the education and development of others. Mary was a much loved and admired member of
the University of Melbourne
Philosophy Department.
Her strength and sense of humour in adversity and
her warmth and generosity
of spirit, will be sadly missed, by both her family and all of those fortunate enough to have been her friends.

I was very fortunate to have known Mary. She was a wonderful friend and support to me when I was a postgraduate student and early career academic. She had great integrity, humour and courage.
